Toledo , Heritage of the Senses.
The city of Toledo, holder of more than two millennium of History was declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986. Toledo was successivily Roman town, capital of the Visigoth kingdom fortress of the Cordoba emitare, city of El Greco, known as the city of the Three Cultures. In the XVI century was the temporary seat of the supreme power under the reign of the Emperor Charles V, and the city is proclaimed "Imperial and crowned city". Its monuments are masterpieces of different civilizations, which today reflect a contras and a harmony of a XXI century city in perfect balance.
Museo de la Santa Cruz
Es un edificio del s.XVI. Fué un hospital fundado por el cardenal Mendoza para centralizar la asistencia a niños huérfanos y desamparados de la ciudad. El edificio es una simbiosis de la tradición morisca con el arte flamenco.
